Preschool At St. Andrew’s

Wonder. Discover. Excel.

Welcome to St. Andrew’s Preschool. We help children discover a love for God and for life as an extension of our neighborhood church with global impact. We do this by partnering with families to empower and equip parents to raise children who love Jesus and are emotionally, socially, and academically prepared for the world. We create environments where children discover themselves and each other and learn through guided play. Our teachers develop authentic, meaningful relationships with each child in an interactive, play-based environment where children acquire the foundations for reading, writing, logical thinking, and problem-solving.

Our teachers are Christ-following professionals who hold relevant degrees or units in early childhood education and have extensive experience working with young children. They are dedicated professionals who undergo regular training and professional development to stay updated with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.

The safety and security of our children are our top priorities. We maintain secure premises with controlled access, conduct regular safety drills, and have strict protocols for drop-off and pick-up procedures. Our staff members are trained in first aid and CPR, and we have comprehensive safety policies in place.

Please provide healthy snacks (and lunches for extended days) for your child each day they come to school. We have a policy of no peanut butter in all classrooms.

In the event of a medical emergency, we have staff members who are trained to provide immediate assistance and administer first aid. We maintain detailed medical records for each child and require parents to provide information regarding their child’s health and any required medications. Our policy strictly adheres to relevant laws and regulations regarding medication administration.

We believe in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Our approach to discipline is based on promoting positive behavior and teaching children appropriate ways to express their emotions. We encourage open communication with parents and work collaboratively to address any behavioral concerns that may arise.

We highly value parental involvement and believe that a strong partnership between parents and the preschool is essential for a child’s development. We offer regular parent-teacher conferences, newsletters, and various events where parents can engage with teachers and staff. We also have an open-door policy, encouraging parents to communicate with us and share any concerns or suggestions they may have.
