Although the term “Good Friday” is not mentioned in the Bible, it is on this day we recall the horrendous, and hideous, yet critical events that took place the day Jesus was crucified. Many wonder why is it called “good” when such brutality took place. The results of Jesus’ death are very good! Paul explains it well in Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This is what makes good Friday, good.
