This November, St. Andrew’s will be returning to India to work alongside our anti-human trafficking partner within one of the darkest regions of the globe.

Last year, Ben Wilson was part of our India team. Below, he shares some of his experience.

“It’s incredible and worthwhile to be a part of what God is doing in other parts of the world. When we were in India, we saw a juxtaposition of a rich history (visiting structures like the Taj Mahal that are older than our nation) mixed with deep hurt of evil and darkness. Through the organizations that we partnered with, we became part of the immense light that God is shining into that darkness. Something that profoundly impacted me was their organizational structure. Strict guidelines allowed the organization to flourish and help more and more people every year, rather than stifling the movement of God. While there was spiritual warfare involved, I could still feel the presence of God so powerfully on our team and in the ministry we partnered with.”

Sara Johnson also traveled to India and shares how she stepped her outside her comfort zone to witness God move.

“It was an experience that took me outside my comfort zone and challenged me, but I was amazed at how much connection I felt with the women and children who have been rescued from human trafficking there, despite all the barriers in language and background that stood in our way.  I am so glad I was able to witness the love, healing, and growth that God is doing through our partner.”

Do you feel like God is calling you to India? Do you have a passion for participating with the Holy Spirit in the process of restoration? If so, we invite you to travel with us this year! Join us in God’s redemptive mission as part of our Anti-Human Trafficking Ministry here at St. Andrew’s.
