Project Hope Alliance Packing Party Recap

We had a super successful food drive and packing party for Project Hope Alliance (PHA) last week! Thank you to everyone who participated.

The Project Hope Alliance (PHA) Food Packing Party started with lunch in the Youth Center where families gathered around the tables, shared a meal, and were able to talk about homelessness with each other and their children.¬†Judy Combs shared as one of the Project Hope Alliance’s Bright Start mentors.

After that, the fun began in Dierenfield Hall!

Project Hope Alliance CEO, Jennifer Friend announced that we hit our Extending the Family goal! Over 100 kids are now out of homelessness as a result of our investment into their work, via St. Andrew’s Extending the Family efforts.

Here are the big wins from the day…
110 volunteers sorted 701 bags full of food and hygiene items.
364 boxes were packed and delivered, totaling 10,311 pounds.
