Personal Reflections on the 2012 Vietnam Trip

July 16, 2012 0 Share

“The first time we heard about the wheelchair mission we wanted to go.  However, there was a glitch—-Bill had had surgery and we were not sure we could make the trip.  However, after lots of prayers from so many, God in His grace paved the way for us.  And, before we knew it we were on our way with a wonderful  crew.

The trip, the people, our job and our leaders were amazing and will not be forgotten.  The blessings were in abundance and what a joy to see the faces of these dear people when they were seated in their wheelchair.  And, even though we did not speak their language and they did not speak ours, the communication was there!

This was trip of a life time and we are so thankful that we were a little part of expanding God’s Kingdom. Jesus said, “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for Me” . Matthew 25:40”
