Last week, Brian and Melissa Davison, Chris Tassio and Julie Wood joined in the Christmas Pageant with Pacific Youth Correctional Ministries. 75 people gathered from churches throughout the community bringing the light and hope of the birth of Jesus to the dark interior of the correctional facility. There was no dimming of the message as many youth heard the good news for the first time and participated in the pageant themselves, creating a tangible step into the Gospel and opening up the opportunity to make a commitment to Christ.
“These two hours will be the most normal experience these youth will have during their time in juvenile hall.” – PYCM Chaplain.
“It was one of the most profound outreach experiences I have had the opportunity to experience.” – Julie Wood
