Missions Fair 2019 Recap

January 29, 2019 2 Comments Share

Each of us is a vital part of the body of Christ. Whether you are already engaged with one our mission partners or in God’s Kingdom work other places here, near, or far – we are here to help you discover what the Lord has in store for the unique person that he has created in you. As we engage culture within both our immediate context, across town and even across the globe, we find that as we serve, we are shaped to look more like Christ and therefore more fully reveal his goodness to the world. This past weekend was our annual Missions Fair. In total, 371 people submitted response cards with our 18 Near/Far mission partners and 3 missionaries. Over 400 people gathered for our Night of Worship featuring the St. Andrew’s Worship Team, orchestra members, and many of our mission partners. What an incredible weekend to center ourselves around a common purpose and experience the power of what God is doing in both the neighborhood and global community!

I’d like to as that as you engage in your own context, to let us know. We would love to hear from you. Consider the questions in the back of the passport and send your reflections to missions@sapres.org.

Thank you to everyone who made this past weekend possible. Let’s do it again!

My mom “Kay” got to meet Julia Baker who she has prayed for (her name periodically comes up on the 18:20 AKA Cordon of Prayer) and get her photo to put up on the refrigerator which we use as a prayer prompter {see the photo, say a prayer.} Don’t forget to pray for those wonderful people you met!
