Interim Preaching Pastors

In case you missed it this weekend, here is an update from our Transition Team on our Interim Preaching Pastors!


CHAP CLARK

Chap is one of our Interim Preaching Pastors beginning Christmas Eve. He has been in ministry for over 30 years and is a well-known preacher, teacher, adolescent and family scholar, and author. Chap has been on the faculty at Fuller Theological Seminary for 20 years, is President of ParenTeen and Harbor Hope Family Services, and continues to work closely with the Sticky Faith and Growing Young movement at Fuller. He has also served as Executive Pastor and interim Head of Staff at Glendale Presbyterian Church and was the senior pastor at Emmanuel Church in Burbank. He lives in Gig Harbor, Washington with his wife, Dee, and has three grown children. Chap will preach at least once per month for the interim period.

TODD CLARK

Todd is one of our Interim Preaching Pastors beginning in January 2017. He has 25 years of ministry experience at churches ranging from 300 to 24,000 members in Louisville, Kentucky; Simi Valley, California; and Peoria, Arizona. Todd is currently on the teaching team at Parkview Christian Church in Chicagoland, Illinois; leads the senior division of Slingshot Group serving churches seeking coaching or staffing for lead or teaching pastors; and is the founder of “Eat Art” a non-profit photography organization committed to artfully ending hunger. He lives in Huntington Beach with his wife of 26 years, Rene, and 15-year-old son, Cole, 15. His daughter, Ruby, attends Hope International University. Todd will preach once per month for the interim period.

    Why haven’t we seen Chad Clark preaching recently? Is he still an interim paster? I prefer the two interim pastors preaching to the staff preaching.
