Community Response Team Update

February 23, 2018 0 Share

Several weeks ago during weekend services, Pastor Chap Clark lamented the tragic death of local teenager, Patrick Turner. He then invited members of the church family to respond to the needs of our community. At that time, nearly 200 people expressed their willingness to serve as God provides us with opportunity.

Shortly afterward, Pastor Chap sent a letter to 36 school leaders in our area, public and private, Elementary through High School, offering condolences on behalf of St. Andrew’s. He also offered assistance by providing an educational resource and the promise of our support. While conversations are held and plans are developed, members of the St. Andrew’s family continue to demonstrate their availability and interest in taking the next step to reveal God’s goodness to parents and students in our community. Thank you, St. Andrew’s!

Please continue to pray for favor with local leaders, parents, and students in our community and for opportunities to share the hope, peace and sacrificial love that Jesus Christ modeled to us through his life, death and resurrection.
