Emanuel David
Assistant Pastor of Discipleship & Congregational Care
Emanuel “Manny” David serves as Assistant Pastor over Discipleship and Congregational Care. In his role, he provides pastoral vision and strategic leadership across key ministry areas, including pastoral care, marriage enrichment, counseling, memorials, deacon ministries, men’s discipleship, and leadership development. With a focus on fostering healthy, holistic growth, Manny is devoted to inspiring the church community toward greater emotional, spiritual, and theological formation.
Manny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from SBC Bible College and a Master of Divinity with a focus on Theology and Ethics from Fuller Theological Seminary. He brings over 20 years of vocational ministry experience in Youth and Young Adult Ministries, Worship and Creative Arts, as well as Spiritual Formation and Discipleship. His gifts, calling, and experience empower him to lead authentically and compassionately, articulating scriptural wisdom clearly, thoughtfully, and creatively within our complex cultural moment.
Whether finding new eateries around town, fostering conversations around the dining room table, or taking it easy on a lazy Saturday, Manny treasures creating moments and memories with family, friends, and good people. He’s a devoted Los Angeles Laker fan, smokes his Wagyu steak to perfection, and finds great joy in a warm latte, paddle-boarding, good music, and diving into “nerdy” theology books.
